PRECAUTIONS:
Because this medicine has the potential to cause hypoglycemia or hypoglycemic symptoms, it is crucial to choose the right patient, administer the medication correctly, and follow all dose and administration recommendations. When caloric intake is inadequate, when vigorous activity is not offset by caloric supplements, or when other glucose-lowering medications or ethanol are used concurrently, there is an increased risk of hypoglycemia.
