Gliclazide Tablets prescribed to patients in below mentioned conditions under prescriber’s observation:
- In the treatment of type 2 diabetes
- In combination with metformin when metformin alone cannot control diabetic condition
- When dietary changes, exercise, and weight loss alone not enough to control glycemic index in patients
PRECAUTIONS:
Because this medicine has the potential to cause hypoglycemia or hypoglycemic symptoms, it is crucial to choose the right patient, administer the medication correctly, and follow all dose and administration recommendations. When caloric intake is inadequate, when vigorous activity is not offset by caloric supplements, or when other glucose-lowering medications or ethanol are used concurrently, there is an increased risk of hypoglycemia.
